Old Germany Leer

This very characteristic, vegetable-tanned leather comes from Germany. From a tannery that has been around for many years. The uniqueness of this leather lies in the fact that no dyes are used to obtain the beautiful cognac color. The color is created by tanning with vegetable tanning agents and working with oils and fats. This Old Germany leather is not finished, there is no protective coating on it. Suitable for leather goods and furniture.

We believe that leather equals emotion. That is, leather should be experienced, grasped, smelled, felt. In our opinion, Old Germany has an overdose of emotion. This is leather as it is meant to be. Completely vegetable tanned. Without the use of dyes. So the cognac color obtained comes from the tanning agents.

It is a supple leather, even when working with a thicker variety. Because of the lack of a finish, this leather also offers no protection from light or other external factors. Just that sunlight and daily use will cause the leather to develop a patina. And with that, it will only become more beautiful.

The Old Germany in the mocha or black variety, has received a light protective appretur, making it less susceptible to staining.
