Only the best hides are selected for this elegant Perlinger Alpine Calfskin.
Only the best southern German calves are used by the classic tannery Perlinger in Germany to make this beautiful, quiet calfskin. A classic chrome tanning process was used for this purpose, complemented by a very light, purely water-based finish. The processing has given the leather a very nice and distinct grain pattern. There is a beautiful grain on it.
You get the Perlinger Alpine calfskin as whole full-grain hides, with an elegant 2-tone look, and a nice full grip. The thickness is 1.4 mm - 1.6 mm.
This Alpine calfskin has no correction and each hide has a unique grain texture. Each hide is lightly "buoyed" to produce a luxurious surface with a subtle silky sheen. Alpine full-grain calf hides are colored using a process that involves soaking the leather in a drum, which ensures that the color penetrates deeply into the full thickness of the leather. Perfect thickness and temperament for shoe uppers, handbags and accessories. Each hide has a consistent thickness of 1.4 -1.6 mm. These Alpine full-grain calfskin hides have an even, light feel and soft character. The materials used in leather goods, shoes and orthopedics meet strict and specific quality requirements, such as toughness, comfort and durability. The continuous quality, color fastness and consistency, a stain- and water-resistant finish, and the optimal cut leather surface are highly appreciated by customers.
If you order an Alpine Calfskin skin in the shop, you can choose from 3 sizes. Every calf grows up differently and ends up with a distinct size. Just like us humans! We made the division into sizes specifically to keep ordering easy.

- Small: between 1.8 - 2.0 m2.
- Medium: between 2.0 - 2.2 m2.
- Large: between 2.2 - 2.4 m2.
